We began working with a long-established construction firm in Hastings during the transition between an outgoing and incoming director — a crucial handover period where continuity and control were key. The business had plenty of work coming in, but needed stronger structure, systems, and clarity to ensure sustainable growth.

Our focus was on building stability and setting the business up for long-term success. We helped establish an office base and an administration function, bringing order and oversight to day-to-day operations. We introduced practical systems and processes around job management, communication, and finance — giving the directors better visibility and control across projects.
We also supported the move into new offices, the acquisition of a separate owned yard, and worked closely with the leadership team to strengthen accountability, profitability, and efficiency.
By the time our work concluded, the business was running sustainably and consistently profitably — with clear structure, a capable admin function, and solid foundations in place.
The team also successfully launched a second business, Gold Star Scaffolding, extending their capability and strengthening their market position.
